OG Anunoby scored 31 points and Mitchell Robinson had 17 points and 11 rebounds as the Knicks routed the Chicago Bulls, 136-96, on Friday night at the Garden after building a 47-point lead.
Anunoby was 9-for-15 from the field, including 7-for-10 from three-point range. Robinson — who started in place of Karl-Anthony Towns, who did not play because of a right elbow impingement — made each of his seven shots.
Jalen Brunson had 17 points and 10 assists for the Knicks (50-28), who held the Bulls without a field goal for the first 6:34 in taking a 20-1 lead. Chicago missed 10 shots and had five turnovers during that stretch.
The Knicks built leads of 23 points in the first quarter, 41 in the second (69-28) and 47 in the fourth (119-72). They led 78-41 at the half after scoring 79 first-half points against the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
It is the Knicks’ third consecutive season with at least 50 wins — a feat they had not accomplished since the 1991-92 to 1993-94 seasons.
Collin Sexton had 19 points for the Bulls (29-48), who have lost six straight and 10 of 12.
