(Last week's rankings in parentheses)
1. Half Hollow Hills (1): Dominance continued for Hills. Quarterback Samantha Heyman surpassed 10,000 career passing yards. Hills (12-0) notched a 36-0 win over Commack and a 38-6 victory over North Babylon. Emma Gould had a pair of sacks in each game to lead the defense. Hills plays Northport on Tuesday in its regular-season finale.
2. Plainedge (2): The Red Devils took care of business with commanding wins over Roslyn and Roosevelt. Ava Renzo and Kate Franks combined for 11 sacks in the two wins. Plainedge clinched the second seed in the Nassau Class B playoffs.
3. Hauppauge (4): The Eagles have now registered four consecutive shutouts. They defeated Glenn 25-0 to start the week. Hauppauge hung on for a 6-0 win over Sayville thanks to Taylor Mileti’s pass breakup on fourth-and-goal with five seconds left to seal the win. Hauppauge (14-0) faces Kings Park on Monday.
4. MacArthur (5): The Generals have kept rolling, recording 37-0 victories over Long Beach and Glen Cove. Gina Iannuzzi threw four touchdown passes in each game. MacArthur (15-0-1) locked up the No. 1 seed in Nassau Class B.
5. Syosset (5): In its lone game of the week, Syosset (9-1-3) defeated Bellmore-Merrick, 12-6. Julia Tabackman ran for a TD and threw for a score. Syosset’s defense hasn’t allowed double-digit points since April 14, and it is the No. 1 seed in Nassau Class A.
6. Sachem East (8): The Bulls (12-2) moved up in the rankings and close in on the second seed in Suffolk Class A after a dramatic 24-18 double overtime win over Longwood. Sofia Larrea threw three TD passes in that win and in a 38-6 victory over Sachem North.
7. Massapequa (9): Massapequa earned multiple crucial league wins over Port Washington and Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK. Those victories helped it earn the second seed in Nassau Class A. Reese Reustle had four receiving TDs in the two-game span for Massapequa (11-4).
8. Deer Park (6): One of Suffolk’s top teams was stunned this week. The Falcons lost to West Babylon, 37-6, causing the slide in the rankings. Deer Park is 10-2. Taylor Gabel totaled six TDs to lead the Falcons to a 40-20 victory over Eastport-South Manor earlier in the week. Deer Park faces East Islip on Monday looking to earn the second seed in Suffolk Class B.
9. Whitman (NR): The Wildcats enter the rankings after defeating Longwood, 22-12, and taking down Lindenhurst, 48-6. Nevin Letren ran for more than 100 yards and had two TDs in each victory. Whitman (7-4) has won three of its last four games and faces Middle Country on Tuesday.
10. Longwood (3): The Lions were 9-1 and the only team to give Half Hollow Hills a competitive game, but they dropped a pair of contests this week — an overtime heartbreaker to Sachem East and a 22-12 defeat to Whitman. Longwood plays Connetquot on Tuesday in its regular-season finale.
On the cusp: Floyd, Valley Stream District, East Islip, Wantagh, Bellmore-Merrick.
