Newsday's top 10 Long Island high school girls lacrosse team rankings

1. St. Anthony’s (1)
The Friars defeated Sacred Heart, 14-1, on Thursday in the CHSAA Class AA semifinals before claiming their seventh consecutive title with a 13-4 win over Kellenberg on Saturday night. St. Anthony’s finished its season at 17-1.
2. Sayville (2)
The Golden Flashes (16-0) completed their perfect regular season, defeating Miller Place and Mattituck this week. Sayville will host the winner of No. 4 Mount Sinai/No. 5 Islip in the Suffolk Class C semifinals on May 26.
3. Garden City (3)
The top-seeded Trojans defeated No. 8 Roslyn, 22-2, in the Nassau Class B quarterfinals on Saturday . Now 15-2, Garden City will face No. 4 Bethpage in the semifinals on Wednesday at Farmingdale State.
4. Manhasset (4)
Second-seeded Manhasset took down No. 10 Bellmore JFK, 22-5, in the Nassau Class B quarterfinals on Saturday. Manhasset (14-2) will take on No. 3 Long Beach in the semifinals on Wednesday at Farmingdale State.
5. West Islip (5)
The Tigers swiftly took down Kings Park, 13-6, on Tuesday to close out the regular season at 15-1. Top-seeded West Islip will host the winner of No. 4 Westhampton/No. 5 Comsewogue in the Suffolk Class B semifinals on May 27.
6. Northport (6)
Northport swept Floyd and Patchogue-Medford to finish its regular season at 14-1. No. 3 Northport will host No. 6 Sachem North in the Suffolk Class A quarterfinals on Thursday.
7. Huntington (7)
In their last regular-season contest on Monday, the Blue Devils took down Ward Melville, 9-3. Second-seeded Huntington (14-2) will host the winner of No. 7 Longwood/No. 10 Bay Shore in the Suffolk Class A quarterfinals on Thursday.
8. Ward Melville (8)
After falling to Huntington, the Patriots closed out their regular season with a dominant win over Lindenhurst on Wednesday. Top-seeded Ward Melville (14-2) will host the winner of No. 8 Commack/No. 9 Patchogue-Medford in the Suffolk Class A quarterfinals on Thursday.
9. Massapequa (9)
Top-seeded Massapequa took down No. 8 East Meadow, 18-1, in the Nassau Class A quarterfinals on Wednesday. Massapequa (13-3) will face No. 4 Port Washington in the semifinals at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Farmingdale State.
10. Cold Spring Harbor (10)
The Seahawks closed out their regular season with with a 15-5 loss to St. Anthony’s on Tuesday. Top-seeded Cold Spring Harbor (11-5) will face No. 4 Oyster Bay in the Nassau Class D semifinals at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Farmingdale State.
