The Mets announced that their Tuesday and Wednesday games against the Diamondbacks at Citi Field have been moved up to 4:10 p.m. starts due to expected cold weather and windy conditions.

Tickets for the originally scheduled 7:10 p.m. starts on Tuesday and Wednesday will be valid for the 4:10 p.m. games. Citi Field's gates will open at 3:10 p.m. and parking lots will open at 2:40 p.m.

AccuWeather.com has Tuesday's high at 53 degrees in Queens, but dropping to 36 degrees at night with winds at 17 miles per hour. Wednesday's forecast is 43 degrees during the day and 38 degrees at night. 

Due to the time changes, the Mets are offering a limited number of complimentary tickets to both games. Tickets are subject to availability and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans can go to Mets.com/Tickets and enter code THANKYOU to claim up to four tickets per account, per game.

Fans who already have tickets for Tuesday's or Wednesday’s game will also receive a voucher for a ticket to any remaining Monday-Thursday Mets regular-season home game in April and May, subject to availability. The digital voucher will be loaded into each attending patron's My Mets Tickets account (Mets.com/Vouchers) and will be accessible Tuesday morning.

Carlos Beltran jersey retirement

Carlos Beltran’s No. 15 jersey will be retired by the Mets and he will enter the team's Hall of Fame on Saturday, Sept. 19 prior to the 4:10 p.m. game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Beltran, who will be enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame this summer, will become the ninth player in franchise history to have his number retired by the Mets, joining Tom Seaver (41), Mike Piazza (31), Jerry Koosman (36), Keith Hernandez (17), Willie Mays (24), Dwight Gooden (16), Darryl Strawberry (18) and David Wright (5).
